Sept. 20-21 Fall Militia Encampment. The Catawba Militia will be on site to conduct a weekend program highlighting the early volunteer militia muster with demonstrations of flintlock musket drills and hands-on children activities in the militia camp. 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Saturday and 1-3 p.m., Sunday.
December 14 Christmas Candlelight Tours. Living history candlelight tours of the Vance Home. The tours will have a Christmas season theme. Traditi\onal music will be provided in the Visitor Center by Primrose. 4- 7 p.m.
